Life’s short – be bold and go for it.

What is your favourite thing about working at Capgemini Invent?

Without a doubt, it’s the people. I’ve met some of the most supportive, talented and genuinely kind colleagues here, many of whom have become real friends. The culture is something special: collaborative, encouraging and grounded in a true sense of community. People cheer you on, help you grow and make even the busiest days feel lighter. Our tagline, “Make it Real,” really reflects what it’s like to work here, because you’re supported, guided and given the freedom to shape your own path.

What is your favourite Capgemini value?

Freedom – I’ve always valued the freedom to explore new ideas and challenge traditional ways of thinking. This curiosity and willingness to push boundaries aligns closely with Capgemini’s focus on innovation and technological progress. Experiences travelling and working in diverse environments have broadened my perspective, strengthened my creativity and enhanced my adaptability. Capgemini’s dynamic, forward‑thinking culture has continued to encourage this mindset, providing the space to think differently and develop new approaches with confidence.

What opportunities have you had to shape your career at Capgemini Invent?

I genuinely loved the Institute and couldn’t imagine starting at Capgemini without that foundation of support, structure and confidence‑building. The coaches were brilliant, and it created an environment where I felt comfortable asking questions, trying new things and figuring out the kind of consultant I wanted to become. As I grew within the Academy, I have had the chance to get involved in a wide range of internal initiatives, from supporting bids to contributing to the P&CA marketing team. I also helped with the wellbeing newsletter, created my own newsletter for a major account, took on elements of account management and more! The exposure and variety has been incredible.

What did you study at university? How has this helped you in getting a job at Capgemini Invent and in your role?

I studied Business & Spanish at university, and both sides of my degree have transferred directly into my work at Capgemini. My business modules gave me a strong grounding in stakeholder engagement, communication, analytical thinking and understanding how organisations operate, all of which I use every day in client‑facing work. On the Spanish side, spending time living in Spain pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me how to adapt quickly, build relationships in new environments and communicate clearly even under pressure.

What has stood out to you most about Capgemini Invent and what made you want to apply?

What stood out to me most was the culture. I had such a strong feeling throughout the recruitment process that Capgemini was the right place for me, and that instinct has proven true. The people were genuine, supportive and easy to connect with, which made the whole experience feel welcoming rather than intimidating. Work‑life balance also mattered a lot to me, and I loved how openly and honestly people spoke about it. The Accelerate programme reinforced all of this by showing me that I’d be joining a community that encourages growth and gives you room to follow your own path.

What advice would you give to students looking to apply to Capgemini Invent and the Accelerate programme?

My biggest advice is to be your true, authentic self. They aren’t looking for the same type of person over and over again. They value honesty, boldness and people who bring their own personality and perspective. Trust the process, back yourself and let who you are come through.
